My Story
My name is Nicole Townsend, R.N. I am a registered nurse with greater than 15 years of experience. I am currently serving It Takes a Village DFW as the role of perinatal consultant and educator. My services include perinatal telephonic support to clients, birth doula, CPR instructor, childbirth education, and birth photographer. I am available for speaking engagements. I am passionate about offering quality, respectful and evidence-based care to women and their families. I am an advocate for maternal and children's health. I am a reproductive and birth justice activist, fighting to bring awareness to the disparities in health care that negatively affect women of color and minorities.
